2005 Honda Little Cub 50 AA01 16,245km 10,088 miles
You meet the nicest people on a Honda. 100 million of them, actually. In 2017 Super Cub production surpass a worldwide production milestone of 100 million units. Cubs were initially a success based on their practicality, economy and reliability but over the years their popularity has grown into a massive cult due to their iconic styling.
How iconic is it? In 2014, the Japan Patent Office granted it a three-dimensional trademark registration for the shape of the Super Cub, a first for any product from an automaker.
Here we have a rare site in the UK. It’s a Little Cub. A little Cub is basically a C50 with 14 inch wheels and a few nice design touches that make it stand out from the pack. Ours is a 2005 in silver and black with a two-tone seat. It has kamome (seagull) handlebars with protruding indicator housing. The decal under the seat reads Little Cub and the front badge is Little Cub 14 – the wheel size. The side covers are smaller and rounder than on a traditional C50, and the leg covers and fenders have also been trimmed down. It has a slimline rear rack. The overall look is like a slightly sleaker Cub.
Little Cubs are a standout variation of this highly collectable range of bikes and this one is a lovely and rare example of the breed.
This bike is already UK registered and ready to go. It will give someone an interesting, stylish, reliable and economical runabout.
