Terms and Conditions

I. Interpretation:

I. These Terms and Conditions will apply to all goods purchased by you (the customer or you) from us (Seven Seas Motors Limited the supplier, us or we). Seven Seas Motors Limited is a limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 10270382, whose registered office is at 3rd floor, 3 Fitzhardinge Street, London W1H 6EF.

II. Application

I. These are the terms under which we supply goods to you. By ordering any of the goods you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You can only purchase goods from the website if you are eligible to enter into a contract and are at least 18 years of age.

II. No contract exists between you and Seven Seas motors until Seven Seas Motors has received and accepted your offer.

III. Confirmation of the terms of the sale (price and timeframe) will be sent by Seven Seas Motors.

IV. Seven Seas Motors reserves the right to terminate the contract if funds are not received within an agreed timeframe, if the product is no longer available or for other reasons that may arise.

V. The customer reserves the right to terminate the contract subject to conditions below.

III. Description and price of goods

I. Seven Seas Motors provides an accurate description of the goods available, where possible with photographs and, in the case of vehicles, a video.

II. Every effort is made to ensure the price of goods shown and the description is correct at the time of publication on the website. If it is subsequently discovered that there has been an error in either the price or the description, the supplier will advise you of this and offer you the option to continue with the purchase or cancel the order. If confirmation to continue the purchase is not received within 14 days of notification, the order will be cancelled. IN this instance the supplier will refund or re-credit any sum that has been paid by the customer.

III. In addition to the price listed, there may be other charges such as MOT, vehicle registration or delivery.

IV. Payment

I. Payment can be made by any method listed on the website. Payment must be received in full before the goods can be collected or delivered. If full payment is not received within the stated timeframe, the supplier reserves the right to cancel the order.

V. Cancellation

I. The customer has the right to cancel the contract up to 14 working days from the date of receipt of the goods. This does not always apply to trade customers. In order to exercise your right of cancellation, written notification must be provided to the supplier giving full customer details, details of the good, reference number and delivery date where appropriate.

II. In the case of faulty or misdescribed goods, the supplier will, upon receiving written notification, deal with it in the appropriate manner according to the customer’s statutory rights and refund within 30 days any sum paid by the customer.

III. In the case of a vehicle purchase, if the customer chooses to cancel the order for reasons other than a faulty or misdescribed product after payment of a deposit, Seven Seas Motors reserves the right to retain a portion of the deposit as an administration charge, and to cover for loss of business due to the time taken and the vehicle being unavailable for sale to other customers.

VI. Warranty

I. CARS. Most cars come with a 12-month warranty. The exception to this is cars listed as “Classics”

II. MOTORCYCLES. Motorcycles are supplied without a warranty but the customer is protected by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Road Traffic Act 1988. The exception to this is where the vehicle is marked as “project” or “for spares/parts”

III. PARTS. Parts are sold under the standard protection of the Consumer Right Act 2015.

IV. Seven Seas Motors makes every effort to ensure that goods are prepared, described and delivered carefully and arrive in good order. If, after taking receipt, the customer believes the goods are not as described or have been damaged in transport, they should contact Seven Seas Motors in writing within 7 days, detailing the defect. In the case of vehicles, any modification to the vehicles may affect entitlement to warranty protection.

VII. Risk and Title

I. Risk of damage to, or loss of, any goods will be passed to you when the goods are delivered to you.

VIII. Delivery

I. While every effort will be made to ensure the goods are delivered (where required) as soon as possible after payment has been received, the supplier will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by you through reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery.

IX. Privacy Policy
