1996 Yamaha Mate 50 DX

The Mate is Yamaha's answer to Honda's ubiquitous Super Cub. It has the same easily hop-on-and-offable step through design, simple, 3-speed semi-automatic gearbox, excellent fuel economy and good carrying capacity.

The main difference is that the Mate is a 2-stroke giving it a larger exhaust, different sound and a little more torque.

This one is a 1996 Deluxe model in dark green. Beautiful condition all over, and with the fully enclosed chain, you even get to keep your clothes clean.

Lovely, practical and economical.

This bike has been put through the NOVA system. The bike has been fully UK registered, this includes the Dating Certificate, MOT (if required), Registration, UK log book and age related number plate.

Comes with a 3 month warranty if the bike is under 30 years old at the time of the sale. There are companies who offer warranties for Historic bikes online.

A deposit of 30% will secure the bike, we would not ask for further payment until the bike is ready to hand over. Once the deposit is received we will do a PDI check, re-MOT if the MOT has less than 6 months to run and clean the bike. If the customer cancels the sale we will refund 50% of the deposit. Road tax & insurance are your responsibility as the new keeper. Please note that if a customer pays through Paypal, we require the customer to pay the Paypal charges.. We accept bank transfer or debit card payments at no extra cost to you.
