1997 Honda Chaly 50.
The Honda Chaly is a bike with a unique charm all of its own. While it is a step-through, like its cousin the Cub, it is lighter, sleeker and (dare I say it) more metropolitan.
Designed to attract new riders, it has a very light kick start, easy to use three-speed semi-automatic (no clutch) gears, a large muffler guard, small, wide wheels (3.5 by 10 inch) for stability and is very light.
This is a 1997 model in dark blue with purple decals. Black seat and frame cover, white leg covers and silver muffler guard all looking very tidy. It has a rear rack for your baguettes and a basket on the front. All over she is very tidy.
A lovely little runaround, ideal for popping to the shops or putting on the back of the motorhome.
This bike has been put through the NOVA system. Registration can be arranged for a fee of £165, this includes the Dating Certificate, MOT, Registration, UK log book and age related number plate. This process takes approximately 6 weeks.
We can deliver, please confirm your postcode for a quote. Delivery/Collection can take place either after the MOT (while waiting for the log book) or once the log book has been received. The motorcycle cannot be ridden on the public highway until the bike is registered and fitted with its number plate. Road tax & insurance are your responsibility as the new keeper.
Comes with a 3 month warranty if the bike is under 30 years old at the time of the sale. There are companies who offer warranties for Historic bikes online.
A deposit of 30% will secure the bike, we would not ask for further payment until the bike is ready to hand over. If the customer cancels the sale we will refund 50% of the deposit. Please note that if a customer pays through Paypal, we require the customer to pay the Paypal charges. We accept bank transfer or debit card payments at no extra cost to you.
