Description

Vulcan – the god of fire.

The Kawasaki Vulcan Classic VN900 sports a 4-stroke V-twin liquid cooled engine, monoshock suspension, disc brakes, belt drive and a 20 litre tank. No doubt we could come up with some uninspiring facts about the god of fire as well, but that’s not all he’s about either.

The Kawasaki Vulcan is a truly beautiful machine. It has a low slung seat, a wide, flat tank, back-swept handlebars, massive front forks and huge twin pipes. The dial configuration is set in the tank within a chrome case and the overall look – black frame, maroon tank, flashes of chrome, is quite stunning.

Much has been said about the Japanese engineer’s ability to overcome some of the issues faced by cruisers over the years and the Vulcan is a wonderful example of this. Wonderful handling and smooth a silk once you open her up.

Ours is a 2007 model with EFI. It looks stunning. The rear indicators rubbers are aged a little, there are a few very tiny marks on the tank and a small dent on one of the exhausts make it less than perfect. Other than these small things, she is gorgeous. The chrome gleams, the frame, tank and panels look superb and even the seat and luggage are great.

We welcome viewings of this luxurious machine in person. Always a pleasure to show off Japanese design and engineering at its brilliant best.
